Balancing the Anahata “Heart Chakra” can dramatically change your life. It can put you into greater alignment with “your cosmic mission.” This assists you to be drawn into more harmonious relationships and create soul agreements with others, which serves the greater whole.

Anahata – The Heart Chakra

The Anahata Chakra is two-fold. It is where we store the love for others, however, it is also where we store the love for ourselves.

Therefore, the Heart Chakra is where we tune into unconditional love and healing energy for those in our lives that we love. Examples of this would be family, friends and our significant other.

Heart Chakra Dynamics

The “High Heart” Chakra is located just above Chakra 4, also referred to as Chakra 4.5. Located in between the Heart Chakra and the Throat Chakra, it is nestled right at the clavicle bone. The High Heart is all about living your personal truth and doing so with passion and conviction. It is the place where we store self-love and the acceptance of ourselves on every level.

This is where we store the love for ourselves and for others.

Heart Chakra Imbalances

When our Heart and High Heart Chakra is out of alignment, we can suffer a variety of physical and emotional imbalances. Maybe we are suffering from a broken heart, perhaps we feel the need to start living our personal truth but don’t know how to take the next steps to make this happen. Opening up the Anahata Chakra energy center is the key to manifesting and healing. When our heart is open, we are able to vibrate our energy at a higher frequency, attracting more positive people and situations into our lives.

Yoga for the Heart Chakra

The yoga poses presented here are for total balance of the Anahata Chakra. Many imbalances can exist in this energy center. Notably, the chakra can suffer excess, weakness or deficient energy. The active poses for Chakra 4 will help to open the heart, bring balance, and release negative feelings that have created disharmony in the Heart Chakra.
